Hi. My name is Ceci Sharp. I own and operate My Bird Nanny, Avian Pet Sitting Services located in Gilbert, Arizona. My Bird Nanny is licensed, bonded and insured. I have owned and cared for birds all my life. After working for 17 years as a Human Resources Executive, I decided to leave the care and feeding of corporations and turn my energies on my passion for exotic birds.

My Bird Nanny is a unique pet sitting service which is devoted to companion birds and their families. Birds are now the third most popular companion animals after dogs and cats. However, the knowledge and experience required to successfully manage these special birds regarding health and social behaviors is not widely known by the average shopper in a pet store. This is why I offer behavior training and general care classes to those who want to know more about keeping their pets in the best health environment they can afford.

My Bird Nanny will ensure that your birds stay active both mentally and physically while you are away from home. Usually, for larger birds or aviaries, we provide two visits per day where we will clean the cages, wash and refill food bowls, and serve fresh fruits and vegetables to your birds. We will also exercise your bird out of his cage so that your pet will be mentally stimulated while he is alone. We will also use this time for behavior modification and reinforcement as appropriate. We never discipline a bird with loud noises, voices, or use intimidating practices while working with any animal.

Ceci is a recent transplant from the Silicon Valley in California. She ran a successful avian pet sitting business there and offers references for her customers upon request.
